Woman of the Year is my debut character-comedy show. The show recently won BEST COMEDY at the Adelaide Fringe Weekly Awards. Following a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe, receiving 4 and 5 star reviews I began touring the show across the UK and internationally.
I will be taking a new show Get Happy to Edinburgh 2019 along with a limited run of Woman of the Year.

I am a comedy writer and performer. My experience working on A Monk's Tale and NewsRevue has contributed significantly towards my development and my current work which includes writing sketches, parody songs and stand up.

A Monk's Tale
Written and directed by BBC sitcom writer James Cary.
This was a comedy show, in the style of Monty Python and Horrible Histories, about Martin Luther and the Reformation.
Listed in the Guardian's top 5 picks of The Fringe and called a 'hugely entertaining hour' by The Times. It was also featured on the BBC 10 O'clock news.
The show toured from March to December 2017 and was performed 99 times.
An audio CD is available to buy here.
NewsRevue is the world's longest-running comedy sketch show having started in 1979. It is a fast-moving mix of sketches and songs, satirising the world’s news and current events. The show is re-written each week by the writers and cast to respond to changing news.
The show involves a great deal of impersonations, clowning, close-part harmonies as well as comic timing.
The cast is changed every 6 weeks. I have performed in NewsRevue many times having been asked back to do three separate 6-week runs as well as a Christmas show.
I continue to contribute writing towards this show as an external writer. A recent song I wrote about the DUP to the tune of 'C'est La Vie' was selected for the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe show and was later performed at the Arts Theatre, West End.
House of Sock
This was a satirical puppetry show set around the Houses of Parliament in the build-up to the EU Referendum.
I played over 10 different puppets with a variety of accents, including Angela Merkel (pictured).
The show was performed at Wilton's Music Hall and was written by Wrenfoe, a satirical writer for Newzoids and Newsbiscuit.com
A farcical parody of Jeeves and Wooster that was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2015. In this three-hander I played Chipperfield, a geordie political activist.
This Wodehouse-esque satire was written by Robin Douglas and was presented by Broken Holmes productions, the makers of the previous Edinburgh sell-out runs of Broken Holmes and In a Hand-Bag, Darkly.
A farcical parody of Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson that was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2014. In this four-hander I played Morgana, the villain of the piece.
The show was written by Robin Douglas and marked the third year of Edinburgh sell-out shows for the company.
